Train Directions

The Dorey-Stein residence is easily accessible by train using local public transportation. The R5 Paoli-Thorndale line is one the most reliable commuter lines operated by SEPTA (http://www.septa.org/). The bride and groom highly recommend using the train for those guests that live in the city and those staying in hotels downtown.


The train can be accessed downtown from Market East, Suburban Station and 30th Street Station. Most hotels are within the vicinity of Suburban Station which is located at 16th and JFK Boulevard. On Saturday trains leave every 30 minutes and take approximately 15 minutes to reach Narberth. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket counters at all stations. There is a slight surcharge if you wait to pay on board the train.


From the Narbeth Train Station:
1) Walk down the steps from the train platform and walk toward the gas station at the intersection of Haverford and Forrest Avenue.
2) Continue on Forrest Avenue for 2 blocks. The Dorey-Stein residence is located on the right hand side at the corner of Woodbine and Forrest Avenue. Signs will guide you on your 5 minute walk.
